We are to sow seeds and help others grow. Who are you helping to grow?
Pastor Suzie Judd teaches us that when Jesus called people, it wasn't so they would get something from Him. It is easy to get our expectancy focused on something that God didn't intend it to be on. Jesus wants people to become something, not get something. He wants us to grow and change as we mature. Aim to Change (audio) Aim to Change (video)
Among other things, empowerment is walking in the authority that we have as believers. It enables us to do things. In this message, Pastor Matt Judd shares that we need to take the authority that we have to the world. We need to bring God's power on the scene wherever we go.

There are two different responses that we can have to the presence of Jesus. One response rejects and the other receives. Pastor Nate illustrates the different responses by using examples in the Word. To receive anything from Jesus, our hearts have to be involved.

Pastor Nate continues the teaching from Pentecost Sunday. The Holy Spirit is the power source for the ministry of the believer. It is about letting Him come upon us and work through us.

Pastor Matt shares that we have rights and privileges in salvation as children of God. The gospel is more than just good news...it is alive. At the core of the sin nature is fear. God brings peace. He sent Jesus to bring peace. When we have faith, we know that we have what God promised.
James Graham teaches that when we understand what we are created to do, nothing else matters. We are to make disciples and do the works that Jesus did. The question is...can we be Jesus incarnational to the world?
Pastor Suzie teaches that we were enemies of God. He raised us all up out of the filth and death. He made us alive according to His power. That same power that worked in us before is available to us now. It works in us now. We can use it. He will work in our lives as well as working through us.
Pastor Nate shares about being one as a body. Let us celebrate our differences since they make us stronger. Don't let them divide us. In the conclusion of our two month series Follow, Pastor Nate shows us that we need to stand strong when the pressure is on. Let us not look back. Let us not turn back. Keep moving forward. Our Father provides deliverance. Don't stop and look at your circumstances or what is behind you. Forget the past. Trust in God. There is no better place to be than in His presence. There is no better place to be than where He is leading us to go. God's grace is calling us to continue to follow Him. Let us follow the model of Paul as shown in his words to the church in Philippi..."forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus." -- Philippians 3:13-14
teaches that sometimes we will have poor circumstances come our way. God
wants us to stand strong. Regardless of what may come, we need not worry.
Don't let the enemy create doubt in your mind. We CAN stand steady
in the middle of chaos! We CAN have peace! Trust in what the Word says
and stand on it. God is our foundation. He is faithful. Dig deep and build your
foundation on solid rock. Our victory comes from Him alone.
Pastor Matt shares that the church is meant to follow Christ together, in one accord, just as was done when the church began. We follow as individuals, but also collectively as a church body. We are to have relationships with a purpose, with a cause. That cause is following the Great Commission.
Pastors Matt and Suzie share with us the key aspects of overcoming in this world. No matter the trials that this world brings, we can have peace. We can access it through prayer and praise. Let us get our minds off whatever is happening and pray, worship, and confess the Word. The enemy is a liar. Rebuke him. That is where we fight our battles, spiritually. We can have peace. We may not have immediate relief, but we can have peace. Peace is spiritual, not a feeling. Getting peace will fix us on the inside, where we need it. We can learn to walk in constant peace instead of cycles of trial and relief.
In continuing our Follow series, Pastor Nate teaches on the importance of denying all and following Jesus. These are the instructions of Jesus. We need to realize that life is not all about ourselves. Life is about living knowing our identities in Him. Let His will override my own. Decide to give up the old life. Declare what God's Word says. Deny your sinful flesh. Follow Him and experience abundant life.......What will you decide to do?
Pastor Suzie teaches us that discipleship is about relationship. God chose Abraham because he was a man who would impart what he knew to his children, then on to future generations. This is discipleship. The most important discipling relationship is that of a parent to a child. This was God's intent. When we disciple our children properly, we will see them productive and fruitful, firing on all cylinders.
Continuing in the Follow series, Pastor Matt shares that as Jesus had an intimate relationship with His Father, so should we. As He and the Father are one, so should we be one with Him. In that relationship, that loving relationship, we have security concerning the mission that we have to do. Our faith is not a response to a code of rules and regulations, it is a response to the love of a loving Father. When we know God's love, then we can love other people.
Are we plastic disciples? In the same way that plastic food looks good and is not really food, are we just putting on the same type of good outward appearance and not being what we should be? Pastor Suzie teaches that we need to be true disciples of Jesus as God's Word instructs us to do. If we are true disciples we will dedicate ourselves to many things, among those are -- studying the Word, doing the works of Jesus, making disciples, giving life, and being led by the Holy Spirit. Let us do what we are called to do. This is a call to all believers, not just some chosen ones.
Pastor Matt shares that to follow God, we must follow the Holy Spirit. God's plan is a process, and we must follow Him through it step by step. The Holy Spirit plays a critical role in the life of believers. He guides us in living the plan, seeing each step, and knowing the right path. We must be open to praying in the Spirit and quieting our minds to hear what He is sharing with our spirits.
Pastor Suzie continues the Follow series. She shares with us that we embark on an epic journey when come to Christ and follow God's plan for us. This journey is the life that Jesus called us to, to have life flow out of us into this world. We need to give the abundant life that we have. It is not enough to be saved and know that we will be in Heaven when we die.
Pastor Nate continues in our Follow series sharing that there are many benefits to following God's Word. His Word is the ultimate truth over anyone's beliefs or experiences. It is also greater than reason. Confess His Word, the truth of His promises, in your life and your reality will align with His Word.
Pastor Matt teaches that vision is supernatural sight, a clear vision of the future. Vision is critical to the person and the church. It pushes us, helps us to become more, and sustains us through dark times. Most important in your vision is seeking God, who always provides superabundantly! Move toward your vision. Trust Him to guide your steps. He cannot guide your steps if you are not taking any steps.
From our Follow series, Pastor Nate teaches that in order to follow God, you must first follow the Word. He challenges us not to see the Bible as a list of dos and don'ts or a list of chores. See it for what it is. It is a story of redemption. It is a story of victory. It is a story of love. Seeing the Word in that light makes it easier to follow.
Pastor Nate shares that not everything that we hear is good for our hearts. This includes many Christian songs, teachings, and television broadcasts. Stay on guard to keep twisted words from seeping into your hearts. Hide the Word of God in your hearts. Stand on a firm foundation. Hear and see all things in the light of God's grace.
Pastor Matt shares that Jesus wants us to follow Him. He wants us to let go of our own plans and follow where He leads. No matter what is in our past, we can turn to Him and follow Him going forward in our lives. He will lead our lives and take care of us.
Pastor Suzie shares that the greatest need that we all have in our lives is understanding. We should not rely on our own understanding but trust God to give us wisdom. We can get wisdom through praying in the spirit, reading the Word, or from wise godly counsel. When you get this light, this understanding, it is easy to walk in faith and believe that God will come through in all areas of our lives.
Pastor Matt shares that we should meditate on the love of God until it overflows from our lives. Abundant life is not solely about being blessed. Let the blessings overflow from our lives. True joy comes when we give.
