Pastor Matt shows us what extravagant love is. This was demonstrated in God setting aside His glory and humbling himself, taking the form of a man, and coming to earth. He came to earth and lived as a servant and suffered for us. This was all done because of His love for us so He could give us life and so much more.
Eddie Kennedy shares with us about what our identity really is. Our identity is based on who we are in Christ and what we have because of what He has done. Eddie challenges us not to see our identity in our old self who was crucified with Christ. Let us see our identity in the new creation based on the finished work of Christ. All that God is and all that He has, is in us.
- Your Identity
Pastor Matt teaches on a new kind of love...agape love. This is the love that Jesus brought to us. This is the love with which God loves us. This is a love that is a choice. It is giving love and grace to people regardless of what is received.
Pastor Matt shares the vision of GNC. He shares that the purpose of the fivefold ministry is for equipping the saints for the work of the ministry for the edifying of the body of Christ. The believer has the preeminent ministry in the world. The role of the pastor is to lead and serve the body. The role of the believer is to be discipling the world Freely we have received; freely we should give. We should take what we have and teach others - spouses, children, family, and others.
Pastor Suzie teaches about biblical desire. The definition of desire is wanting to have something, or wishing for something to happen. Let us live wanting to have the things of God and His plan in our lives.
Pastors Suzie and Matt share during the 20th Anniversary service. From the beginning, God laid a foundation for GNC to be a different type of church. We have followed His leading to become a life-giving church. Seeds have been planted in us in order to bear fruit. Let us pass that on in giving life to others.
Pastor Matt continues the series of classic messages, leading up to the church's 20th anniversary. He teaches that our redemption is based on what Jesus did for us and it changes us at the core of our being.
Ed Elliott uses 1 John 4:19 as the basis of this message showing us the overflowing love of God that is the basis of our faith and redemption. He contrasts the God of old covenant law to the God of new covenant grace.
Pastor Nate helps us realize that the trouble we get into is most often a result of the temptation we give into. This message will help you discover a way out of the temptation you experience as you realize that sin has no control over you when you respond to the power of Christ and walk in the Holy Spirit.
Simply put, Jesus doesn't change- yesterday, today, tomorrow, He's totally Himself. He never intended to discontinue His ministry so He delegated it to us- "preach the good news, make disciples, do just as I did". Do you believe in Jesus? Do you intend to follow Him in every sense? If so, He said that you would do the same works He did, and even GREATER works. "But shouldn't people just believe?" "Would God find it necessary to take such dramatic action?" These are a few questions among the skeptics and unbelieving. Evidently God deems it necessary. Jesus said that these signs will follow those who believe: demons being cast out, speaking with new tongues, supernatural protection, and the sick being healed. God intends to make your life a sign and a wonder so that anyone lost in darkness, could find clear direction into the light of the gospel. Pastor Matt and Pastor Nate tag team in this message on the miraculous.
Grayson and Harry Judd return from their empowerment trip to India. Having had dozens filled with the Holy Spirit and many physically healed, the Judd brothers share how the trip opened their eyes to see the bleak reality of the harvest. They minister on how preparation and a pledge to count all things loss are keys to knowing Jesus and sharing Jesus. With a population of 1.25 billion people, (more than 75 percent practice Hinduism, and less than 2 percent adhere to Christianity) India lies in great darkness. Just as Harry and Grayson went across the world to share God's light, love and power, we too, can do the same here in our worlds. We just have to start now, give them what we have and remember that Jesus is the only thing that matters.
Pastor Matt preaches on the peace of God. It is available to all but sadly, few abide in it. The world can now experience true peace all because of Jesus. It can't be accessed through any means other than Jesus Himself. It is not the absence of trouble, but peace is the presence of Jesus. Jesus promised that He would be present with us at all times and that we would never be lonely during the difficult times. We can expect to triumph and overcome in a world full of turmoil because we have peace- Jesus.
Pastor Suzie makes a clear distinction between the normal civilian life and the normal Christian life. God's call for every believer is that they would impart His life wherever there is none. And as life-givers, we, like soldiers to their commanders, take heed of every command that the Lord gives us. His command is specific and repeated. Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel. Liberate the captives. Make disciples.
Pastor Suzie talks about the importance of being prepared to fulfill the great commission. God has great intentions for our involvement in reaching the lost. However, if we are under-prepared, God can't send us to dark places that need the light of the gospel. Many men and women of God have gone off to work exploits and reach nations, but it was because they were adequately equipped that enabled them to do so. What you accomplish for the Kingdom is determined by your answer to this question: Are you prepared? And if not, will you prepare?
Pastor Matt delivers a message about the resurrection power which raised Christ from the dead and how that same power is at work in the life of the believer.
