Simply put, Jesus doesn't change- yesterday, today, tomorrow, He's totally Himself. He never intended to discontinue His ministry so He delegated it to us- "preach the good news, make disciples, do just as I did". Do you believe in Jesus? Do you intend to follow Him in every sense? If so, He said that you would do the same works He did, and even GREATER works. "But shouldn't people just believe?" "Would God find it necessary to take such dramatic action?" These are a few questions among the skeptics and unbelieving. Evidently God deems it necessary. Jesus said that these signs will follow those who believe: demons being cast out, speaking with new tongues, supernatural protection, and the sick being healed. God intends to make your life a sign and a wonder so that anyone lost in darkness, could find clear direction into the light of the gospel.
